However, daily hair washing can be beneficial in some cases. Excessive sweating and oil from a workout create a residue on the scalp over time. It could lead to seborrhoeic dermatitis, a skin condition brought about by yeast Malassezia build-up. So, if you have dandruff issues, it’s best to wash your hair after a workout.
